Christmas 2007

I flew to California for the week for Christmas and took my kitten with me. :) She did very well. Only got out of her bag once. HA. And yes, while we were on the plane. She loved being in my Mom's house as she got to run freely. Christmas Eve was a huge hit. She loved on everyone and was quite content in the mound of wrapping paper and tissue. We flew back yesterday and again, she did very well on the plane. She was very vocal when we were at a stand still but once we started moving, she was good. She really is an amazing kitty. She has gotten SO big since I first got her. She has been passed out all day today. Completely exhausted from all her traveling. Here...take a look. :)




Another highlight of my trip was meeting my baby niece. She was just to die for and I couldn't let go of her. She just turned 6 weeks old. Here is a photo of me holding her for the very first time taken on my cellphone. Gotta love those cellphones with cameras. :)

Name?

Today was a good day. :) My mama rescued a kitten. That cute little thing. He is approximately 6 weeks old. He was found in a wheel well of an SUV by one of her co-workers. He was covered in oil and fleas. He was taken to the vet and cleaned up over the weekend and is now in the loving care of my mama. He's on antibiotics and eye drops. The woman who found him was calling him Archie. But we think that will change....any name suggestions!? Comments now open!

New life

My niece, Madeline Kate Sutton was born tonight, Wednesday November 14th, 2007 at 11:30PM EST. She was 8 pounds, 4 ounces and 21 inches long. I couldn't be happier!
